Transgender Teenage Couple Transition Together (via The Huffington Post)
A pair of teenagers from Oklahoma might seem like your typical young couple, but their love story is unlike many others. The transgender couple actually transitioned together.
Just two years ago, Arin Andrews and Katie Hill hadn’t transitioned yet. The two had struggled with their identities throughout childhood; Hill had struggled with bullying. Then one day they met at a trans support group, after each had begun the transitioning process, and they fell in love.
Found this ridiculously sweet story today and wanted to share it with my followers.
How can people this hot have this sweet of a love story like damn
go be happy together ugh
Is that their fuckin boat???
Cute couple, but wouldn’t it be nice to see trans people lionized in the ~**~LGBT Media~**~ who aren’t rich white 100% cis passing beauty queens/kings with parents who pay for their medical transitions?
(I know Katie’s SRS was paid for by a donor, but still)
And oh god, the comments. ALL about how pretty they are, like theyre so surprised.
Chasers, all of you. All ~**~allies~**~ are chasers
I agree with you totally. Where are all the dog ugly, poor, non-white, non-passing, genderqueer people who can’t afford anything represented? Get these horrible white passing trans people off of here. How dare they exist and share their stories with the media.
IM NEVER EVER GONNA GET OVER THIS.
I love his reaction
MUCH GENTLEMAN, LOOK AT HOW HE JUST ACCEPTS IT AND LAUGHS. HE ISN’T GROSSED OUT, HE REALIZES THAT IT’S COMPLETELY NORMAL, LIKE WOWOW FOUR FOR YOU JOSH, FOUR FOR YOU

Portuguese designer Susana Soares has developed a device for detecting cancer and other serious diseases using trained bees. The bees are placed in a glass chamber into which the patient exhales; the bees fly into a smaller secondary chamber if they detect cancer.
Scientists have found that honey bees - Apis mellifera - have an extraordinary sense of smell that is more acute than that of a sniffer dog and can detect airborne molecules in the parts-per-trillion range.
Bees can be trained to detect specific chemical odours, including the biomarkers associated with diseases such as tuberculosis, lung, skin and pancreatic cancer.
maybe this will be another reason for people to pay attention to bees and the need to save them and there diminishing population around the world
Shiet, this post is exploding.
Truly profund. My love of bees deepens.

That’s fucking brilliant.
Trans Awareness Week
So, last week was trans awareness week. Yet, when I tried to get in contact with the former GSA club I was in a couple years back I was completely ignored. Not that I am one to really care about that but what has angered me is that they completely ignored trans awareness week. I feel like a lot of LGBTQ clubs have completely forgotten the trans* community . Yesterday I went to teennick’s HALO Awards where I met Zachary Kerr an inspiration and I realized that I wanted to do something about this. I want to spread awareness about the trans community and all the problems we face as a community.
drunk af, but this calms me
